Clint Elliott started mowing lawns when he was 14 years old. While mowing lawns was a very common task for young men growing up, starting their own landscaping company was not. At the ripe age of 16, Clint rallied a couple of pals to start AAC Lawn Mowing. Now all three own a successful landscaping business.
Clint came from entrepreneurial stock, and not long after his first company, he bought his second, a Christmas tree farm he’d worked at for 3 years during the holidays. Once he bought the lot, Clint sold trees all throughout his college years, with several bumps along the way.
It was during one of those challenging times that Clint found himself at a pawn shop. Seems he was overstocked on Christmas trees and underrepresented in customers—and needed a quick solution for financial relief. As luck would have it, the nice young lady that checked him out at the pawn shop ended up being his wife some 5 years later! They’ve been happily married for many, many moons, and have had several successful businesses together.
What sets Clint and his team apart is a stubborn refusal to accept anything less than the best. They work hard, they stand by their work, they take pride in their work, they make their meetings on time, and they run their company like the well-oiled machine it is. What started as a 14-year old with a push mower has become the best commercial lawn care company in our area (and beyond)! The residential landscaping division of TLS is an excellent way to take that professionalism to the homeowners that deserve to take pride in their lawn as well.
