Clint Elliott started mowing lawns when he was 14 years old. While mowing lawns was a very common task for young men growing up, starting their own landscaping company was not. At the ripe age of 16, Clint rallied a couple of pals to start AAC Lawn Mowing. Now all three own a successful landscaping business.
Clint was born into a family of business owners, and not long after starting his first business, he purchased a second one—a Christmas tree farm where he had spent the previous three Christmas seasons working. After purchasing the property, Clint sold trees throughout his time in college, despite some setbacks.
Clint was at a pawn shop at the time, during one of those difficult periods. He seemed to have too many Christmas trees and not enough customers, so he needed a quick fix to get some money back. The nice young woman who checked him out at the pawn store turned out to be his wife a few years later, as luck would have it. They have a long, happy marriage and co-owned numerous prosperous businesses.
Clint and his crew are distinguished by their persistent reluctance to settle for anything less than the finest. They put in a lot of effort, back up their work, take pride in what they do, arrive on time for meetings, and manage their business like the well-oiled machine it is. The top commercial lawn care business in our region (and beyond) began as a 14-year-old with a push mower.
